ok. this is sad (and I have way too much time on my hands . . . or more correctly, I have a lot of other things I should be doing instead) but, did you know that they are making a Land of the Lost Movie? Seriously. I started googling Chaka and found it out. Release date summer 2009. Will Ferrell is Park Ranger Rick Marshall.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0457400/

"A forest ranger along with his two children inadvertently stumble into a mysterious land populated by dinosaurs and other creatures, including the mysterious and dangerous race of Sleestak"

Do you think they will still have Dopey? I secretly wished that I was Holly when I was younger (what were we 6 years old?). Ok, sometimes I wanted to be Chaka, but usually Holly. The Sleestak scared the beejeebers out of me.

...Marshall, Willy and Holly, on a routine expedition, met the greatest earthquake ever knoooowwwn....

I have the best memories of Land of the Lost and all of the other Croft Superstars shows-they were all sort of creepy-but the memories are good nonetheless.

I felt the same way when I stumbled across Chaka's photo. I hadn't heard about the movie. I hope they do the show justice!

I had the same secret wish to be Holly AND Chaka at times. (I don't think there were any Greystoke type antics that focused on Chaka...but it might have been fun).

I hope they have Dopey the baby dinosaur and I hope they find Giant Strawberries!!

This show had it all. The drama, special effects, every week we learned an awesome life lesson! It was great!! I have many happy memories spent with Marshall and his family.

I loved Sigmund and the Sea Monsters with Johnnie Whitaker and his awesome tunes, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, Wonderbug, Lidsville, Dr. Shrinker.

Happy memories!!
